Overall the Long Island Housing market has performed very well. Median sold prices are up in all three counties: Nassau, Suffolk and Queens. Yet, homes still remain affordable. While the numbers are up, you’ll see inventory is down. Less inventory means that home are selling faster than new homes are being put on the market – indicating it’s a good time to sell.
Take away:
2015 was a stellar year and 2016 will take the same course. If you’ve been waiting – don’t wait any longer. Now’s the time to buy and/or sell on Long Island.
