Not only do you have to outsmart your competition, you have to be smarter than your prospects and clients. Meaning you have to be the LOCAL MARKET EXPERT!

Here’s what you need to have in order to bring your A-game when it comes to turning prospects into customers….

  • SMARTPHONE. Invest in a really good smartphone. Period.
  • KNOW THE MARKET. Please, we can’t stress this enough. Those who consistently make money in real estate know the market. They know the location and the history. They know what new developments are planned. They know the transportation and the schools. They know everything about the area where they invest. They have to know it all.
  • A WEBSITE. It doesn’t have to cost you thousands of dollars. There are cost effective websites available to you for low monthly fees. At the least you can showcase your listings and credentials. Check with you MLS.
  • CERTIFICATIONS. Keep learning and getting certified. It show you take the time to learn and you take your career seriously
  • TECHNOLOGY TALK: Mobile, CRM, the Cloud, transactions management. Learn what they are and how they can help you grow your business. Then start using them.

And one last thing, be friendly! Don’t forget to stay positive and be warm. Really connect with your prospects and they will feel like you truly care about them.
